There has been some exciting additions to the Y&F Team since I was introduced as the Young & Free Spokesperson on December 10, 2007. Jeff Mulligan and the folks at Common Wealth Credit Union are so pleased with the momentum built during the search phase that they have decided to add some support to the Young & Free Initiative. I am excited to introduce two extremely cool ladies—and my partners in crime—Jere Ebert and Paula Mickelson (you might remember them from renowned Y&F classics such as Common Wealth's Most X-treme ATV Stunts and 2007's Sexiest Men Alive: Alberta Beef Edition). And also the Y&F Team Web Guy, who prefers to ride under the radar.
Jere Ebert is 24, she lives in Whitecourt, Albeta and she:
She's the inside girl who keeps the entire Common Wealth Crew up-to-date on what's buzzing in the Y&F world. She attends committee meetings and keeps communication channels flowing. She assists the Marketing Department by generating interest in all things Young & Free, and participates in various campaigns and projects. (She's also my cover should I break a leg or fall down a manhole.)

The Y&F Team Web Guy is slightly older than 25 and lives on the Internet. All the stuff that happens behind the scenes on the website is courtesy of Y&F Team Web Guy. He prefers not to be in the limelight. Enough said.

From October 1 to November 16, 2007, 11 incredible young people answered the call. We where overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of very qualified applicants. Take some time and view the original submissions—they are fantastic!

After a rigorous internal voting process, the top three finalists were announced on November 19, 2007. During the two week voting period, Larissa Walkiw, Paula Mickelson and Shane Lamotte pulled out all of the stops.
