14 days left to get your application in

Two weeks to go to get your video application in.

We have received a number of applications, but so far they are all incomplete. Just so it's clear, here's the deal:

Will you be between 19 and 25 years old and living in Northern Alberta in 2008? Perfect—you are only four steps away from applying for the job.

Step 1: Make a video application

Make a video of yourself telling us:
• Who you are
• Where you come from
• What your experience is
• Why you are the Y&F Spokesperson

Step 2: Edit and upload to YouTube

You will need to:
• Edit your video
• Post your 60-second-or-less video to YouTube
• Tag your video 'youngfreealberta'
• Make sure to copy your YouTube URL

Step 3: Write a blog post

Write a blog post about something that matters to you. Here's some thought starters that you are free to use:
• My favourite restaurant
• My parents don't understand me
• Why the heck do I get ID'ed everywhere I go?
• Freedom means ________________________

Step 4: Fill out the form and submit

Fill out the form on the application page. You can access the application page from the home page. Make sure to:
• Paste your YouTube URL
• Paste your blog post
• Hit submit
• We will send you an e-mail confirmation
• We will post your video and blog within 24 hours

That's it.

For those of you who have submitted applications with missing components, you are not disqualified. Simply resubmit with all of the fields filled out and we'll get your video and blog posted to the site within 24 hours.
