5 cool ways to spend your summer work money

Hi Guys! Happy Monday!

Today, I wanna tell you about some cool ways to spend your money this summer. I am all about 'making the most of your summer' because I despise feeling like I haven't had a good summer by the time September hits. But let's be realistic here...you cannot go a whole summer without spending money. Sure, there are many things you can do for free but chances are you will spend a little dough at some events this summer. So here are some ideas for you, with the help of WalletPop.com, on cool ways to spend your money this summer.

1. Feel like a kid again and go see a movie reminiscent of your childhood. 'Toy Story 3' and 'The Karate Kid' are coming out this summer. Bring out the nostalgia. I guarantee you'll leave the movie feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.
Estimated Cost: $10-15

2. Hit up a local festival. I was at the Lilac Festival in Calgary yesterday and I had so much fun! Check out some of the events on our calendar!
Estimated Cost: $0-15

3. Grab a cool summer soundtrack. Ya, so I know no one buys CDs anymore but you should! This will be great to just pop in your car. Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers are releasing a CD on June 15th. Three 6 Mafia later in June. Eminem and Miley Cyrus have new stuff coming out June 22nd. M.I.A. in July and T.I. in August!
Estimated Cost: $15-20

4. Pick up Super Mario Galaxy 2! You can't go wrong with Maaaario. You need something interesting to do on those rainy days sooo pick up this game! It came out about a week ago.
Estimated Cost: $60

5. Go down to a Servus Credit Union location and open up a Young and Free Account! This gives you a great head start to an awesome summer...not to mention year/life! You can get back all the money you spent doing the things above with the money you'll save from a Young & Free Account BECAUSE there are no monthly fees! Sweet! Doooo it!
Cost: Only $1 and then you are a member/owner!

Get out there!
