Ami G: My commitment

Hey there Alberta!

So, it’s finalllly the last day of voting! What an exciting few weeks it’s been! I just wanted to end it off with what I plan to do this summer as the Young and Free Spokester if I have the opportunity.

I don’t really have anything grounding me to a specific location, so I would love to travel Alberta! I’ll be spending most of my time in Red Deer, but if I am chosen, I would like to do my own lonely-planet type blog while travelling towns and cities in my home province. Only better, because I could interview the locals on the best things to do on a budget. If anyone has suggestions or events that they would want me to feature you could always email me! Whether it’s as big at the Calgary Stampede or as small as the Benalto rodeo, I’ll try to be there. I’m hoping that I can work this around any meetings or events that I have so I can end up with a solid, entertaining documentary on fun facts, great deals, and things to do in Alberta by the end of August! I think I could get that much more out of this job opportunity if I make it as social and interactive as I can.
