Savanna's current situation:

Hey everyone! I am a 23 year old marketing student from Medicine Hat. I LOVE social media. (Almost more than ...anything else! haha). I am a REAL girl! I am a social media butterfly! (Get it? Get it? Get it?) :D This is my dream job, and I really hope I earn this!

Savanna's blog post:

According to me, there is no solid definition of freedom. I believe freedom should exist in the form of second chances, dreams, futures, personalities, financial, and everything in between. Personally, the freedom to grow in to an adult and follow any given path that I choose, or even four different paths before I get it right, is what I want. I want the freedom to be able to own a reliable car, not just a car I had to buy because it was cheap. We should all have the freedom to have the things we believe we are worth. The potential and resources in Alberta are so vast, that the youth have such an abundance of possibilities for our futures. We are the future of Alberta, and we should expand on every opportunity we are given. I want to be the person that connects our generation with valuable information about finances, their future, their everyday life and just the social issues around us. I want to be an advocate for each and every individual i n Alberta between the ages of 17 through 25. If you have something you want financially, I will be the one to communicate that to the financial institution. I will also communicate in the other direction; I will keep you in the loop as to what the current initiatives and strategies the financial institution has to help our generation succeed. I believe that an open door policy is what freedom is all about. Often, youth are looked at with a negative light. Instead, I want to collect the positive aspects of our generation, and EXPLOIT them to our beautiful province. We truly are blessed to live in such an amazing province. Sometimes, when I feel overwhelmed, I drive to the top of the hills and I just get out of my car and I look as far as possible. The most beautiful part of it is – there is nothing in sight. That is freedom, to me. The freedom to just want to scream at the top of my lungs or dance or just chill.. the freedom to just enjoy the beautiful province I live in. I approach life with the same mentality and believe I should have the freedom to access any resource I would find useful for my life. I want to feel the freedom to save my money that I’ve worked hard to earn: Save it for my education, save it for my next car, my first house, my future wedding that I hopefully have(haha), my future children and their education etc. I just want to feel that if I ever fail at anything in life, it was a lack of trying instead of being held back financially. The limitations for success are only set by those who are chasing it. Let’s have the freedom to be anything we want in our life.
