Hi! My name's Jason! I have lived in Alberta all my life, but more importantly I can rub the top my stomach and pat the top of my head at the exact same time.

I'm a musician. Been playing guitar for over five years, and will serenade you if you ask nicely. I've always been fascinated with music and film and will hopefully be making a living in the industry one day.

Oh by the way, I like that Joe guy. He's crazy.

2010 Young and Free Alberta Spokesman!? Pfff, and I wanted to be a fireman when I was a kid.

Remember back in high school, that monotonous financial management class they used to have? It was said to prepare you for "life on the outside"? Well, unlike the 20 or so students in my grade that skipped the class on a regular basis, I was there doing the work. I learned something that those 20 or so people never did. I learned for the first and only time that skipping financial management would have been a really good idea!

Knowing how to save your money, definitely a valuable skill. Knowing how to spend money, also valuable. Understanding that being part of the youth community means mostly everything in the world is going to be highly overpriced and not so much "in your favor", now that's not valuable knowledge at all, that's just life.
