Sam's blog post:

What is freedom? I see it as a state of mind. Not "granted" or "given".. It's automatic. In saying that freedom is "a state of mind", doesn't that classify all of us as free...it's the mindset? You MUST have the attitude of being. Being loved. Being individual. Being valued. And with that mindset comes the action. You have to see things in a new light, form a new perspective. With this "free sight", you'll notice things you haven't seen before, that you may have overlooked in your mundane walkthrough of you quotidian lives. Whether it be the beauty of a blooming flower, the freedom of a bee able to fly wherever it pleases, a grown man being able to relive his childhood through an old forgotten game or simply watching the sunset below the horizon. That screams freedom, and along as you don't go blind, and lose your freedom specs, you'll be living your life free of mental barriers, you'll have nothing to hold you back in life. Parents have always told you growing up, you can be whatever you want in life, and that's true, as long as you "see free" you're capable of achieving anything and everything. Whether it be, becoming an astronaut, or working as a teacher, the Prime Minister or the best farmer in your area. You have those choices in life, and that, ladies and gentlemen, is how I define freedom, not as something granted to someone, or given, but as an outlook, a perspective. See free, be free. BUZZ.
