As seen at the Capital Ex

Ah, the Capital Ex. Formerly known as K-days, it is the event in Edmonton where you can get your fix of candy apples, sunburns, and all-you-can-ride wristbands.

Though I wasn't there for any of those three things (I just stopped by for the Sam Roberts concert – which was awesome, by the way!), I did manage to spot a couple peculiar sights that I need to share with you.

They both involve curious signage.

In this first example, you can see a DIY slushie booth. Pretty sweet signage you've got there... Too bad number-words like 'sk8' and 'l8er' don't really carry over to words like 'make'.

Check it out! A You M-eight-K It Super Slush Lab!

Exhibit B was found on this Corn Dog Booth. From a distance, it looks pretty legit...

But then, you realize what's written on the door:

Custom built for 'Name'. Obviously!

Hope these photos give you a smile! Have a great day,

Larissa
