Grocery store rip offs
I was on WalletPop.com and there was this great article that discussed how grocery stores can rip us off. Now this is SUPER important because we all have to go to the grocery store. We already spend so much money there so the last thing I want to do is get ripped off. And if I am going to get ripped off...I would like to at least know about it. Here are some ways that the grocery store rips you off.

Paying more for water
They usually charge you for chicken by weight. Watch out. Have you noticed all the water in the package? Realize that you might be paying the the price of chicken...for water. The grocery store SAYS it makes it taste better..pfffttt. Either way, they should deduct the water weight from the price.
Not so good meat and veggies
When you buy packaged meats or veggies...you might find the middle stuff is not so yummy. They hide the stuff that wouldn't sell by itself behind the fresher stuff. Grrrr.
A mind game
Supermarkets want you to spend as much as they can get you to. Have you ever noticed that all the necessity departments (ex. milk, bread, veggies) are as far apart as possible? This is a strategy used in hopes that you'll pass by the other items and impulse buy. Yep...that's right. So when you pass buy a random isle on the way to the milk and pick up those Fruit-Rollups...you fell for it!
The package is shrinking
Packages are actually shrinking!!! Competing brands use different unit measurements on purpose so that you can't comparison shop! Ahh! Tricky tricky.
So I just posted these to make you aware. It might make you shop a little bit differently next time. I like to know these things. Do you know of any other ways stores secretly rip you off?
