I opened an account at Servus Credit Union!

Wow. That was SO easy! I found the closest Servus location and zipped down to open an account last Friday. It went so well! I felt so independent doing this all by myself! Haha! For some reason I thought switching financial institutions would be an awkward and time consuming experience but it wasn't at all!

I walked in and I was instantly greeted by a smiling teller. I figured that I would have to go in, make an appointment with someone, and then have to come back another day but they got me in right away. It was awesome! I had a lady named Susan help me out and she was so fun and friendly. I automatically felt comfortable with her and we were laughing and joking around. 

It was such an easy-peasy process. Susan signed me up for the free Young and Free chequing account! She also set me up with a credit card and a savings account. I wanted to set up my savings account so that once the money is in there I can't touch it...and it was no problem! She said that with my online banking I can see how much is in there but I can't access it which is exactly what I need! And if I ever did need to grab some money from there I just run down any branch. This will be so good for helping me save my money! No more temptations to dip into my savings! Perfect!

Everyone at the branch was SO nice and if you are thinking about switching to Servus..DO IT! You won't regret it because everyone there is great and they make the process so simple.
