Merry Christmas from the Y&F Team!

As things wind down for the holiday season, we want to take a moment to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

Since launching the Young & Free initiative just over two months ago, we have much to be thankful for.

• Thanks to all of our applicants. Carrie, Jere, Christa, Paula, Larissa, Maegan, Amanda, Brent, Shane, Lindsay and James. You guys brought energy, joy, excitement and unbelievable attention to the Young & Free initiative.
• Thanks to everyone who voted. There were thousands of you and we appreciated every click.
• Thanks to everyone who has signed up for a Young & Free Account. There are a lot of you and we appreciate you trusting Common Wealth Credit Union with your banking needs.
• Thanks to our finalists, Shane, Paula and Larissa. Each one of you went above and beyond with your campaigns. You should definitely be proud. We sure are.
• Thanks to the media for taking an interest. We have been blown away by the blogs, the newspapers, the radio stations and the television stations that covered Young & Free. It has been overwhelming and has brought more attention to Young & Free than we could have ever imagined.
• Finally, thank you to all of you who left blog comments. You have engaged in a unique, two-way conversation. All 250+ comments have shown respect and have been so encouraging and positive.

The stage is now set. Larissa is hard at work planning her upcoming year. We are excited to turn over the mouse and let her at it.

As we head into 2008, the Y&F Team and our President and CEO, Jeff Mulligan will still post to the blog from time to time, but for the most part, we'll get out of the way and let Larissa run the show.
