New poll: Who should take home the cup?

Happy Monday everyone!

I thought I'd start this week off with a (the first?) sports poll question. I want to know who you're rooting for in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Hockey is not something I choose to stress about. I like watching the games, but when it comes to picking teams, I just kind of support the team I feel closest to. I live close to Edmonton, so when hockey season starts, I cheer for the Oilers. When they get knocked out (which they inevitably do every year), I cheer for the Calgary Flames, because it's the next-closest team geographically (plus, Jerome Iginla went to high school in St. Albert). Once Calgary is out of the picture, I support whatever Canadian team is still in the running.

Some call it high treason; I call it convenience.

I haven't the time this year to pay much attention to the NHL, but somehow I got looped up in a playoff pool, and after the first round out of twenty-six people, I was second!

My picks were completely arbitrary as I just picked from those that seemed like they were doing good this year. Can't do much when you're at school on Friday at 9:30 working on a website..

It's never right to cheer for Calgary, but sometime necessary.
