New poll: your thoughts on time travel

Happy Monday everyone!

I must start by saying how happy I am that so many of you answered the call and took part in last week’s poll question – Holy numbers, Batman!

According to last week's results, 55% of Y&F poll-ers would choose having high self-esteem over being highly esteemed by others.

This week’s poll question was submitted on the Y&F website (which is a fancy way of saying that it’s clearly better than anything I would have thought of):

If given a return ticket for a Time Machine, you would take a trip to:

1) The Past

2) The Future

This is a tough call – the Past and the Future each have their own strong points:

If you were to go to the past...

• You could meet up with all the cool people who died before you were born.

• You could totally creep out an earlier version of yourself.

• You could be a witness to a historical event.

• You could see how dorky your parents were as teens, and make certain that they meet and fall in love so that you can… oh wait. That’s that Michael J. Fox movie.

If you were to go to the future...

• You could see 'how things will turn out' in the next couple generations.

• You could totally creep out an older version of yourself.

• You could take a bunch of new technology, bring it back with you and make a killing on Ebay.

• You could look up future lottery numbers.

• You could watch the season finale of any T.V. show before any of your friends do.
