Servus Heritage Festival

On the long weekend after some me-time in Vegas, I headed up to the Servus Heritage Festival in Edmonton. I had never been before and I didn't really know what to expect. I have to say it was one of the funnest (I realize that's not a word, but if I use it enough it will be soon) times I've had at an outdoor festival. The food was UH-MAY-ZING! There were pavilions representing countries across the world, so you were sure to find something you liked. Personally, the jerk chicken and ginger beer from the Caribbean pavilion really stood out. I had never had jerk chicken before and I have to say, it was amazing.

Of course there was lots of other amazing foods to be had. The Indian pavilion did not disappoint at all. I love Indian food so that was a nice treat for me. There was even camel meat at the Somalian pavilion! I must say, I was a little choked when I didn't see a Mexican pavilion. I could have really gone for some spicy Mexican fare. Oh well, maybe next year.

Check out the video below and have an awesome weekend!
