Special announcement: we are extending the Y&F Alberta Spokesperson application deadline to October 10!

In the interest of having as many of the communities we serve represented in the Young & Free Alberta Spokesperson search, we’ve extended the submission deadline to midnight on Friday, October 10, 2008. If you are a would-be Young & Free entrant who wishes you had more time to prepare your spokesperson video submission, your wish has been granted!

Thank you very much to the three applicants to date. We are extremely happy with their applications. Show your support by leaving a comment on their blog entries.

This extension will have no impact on the other dates. The voting will still begin on October 17 and conclude on October 27 and we will announce our new Spokesperson on November 4, 2008.

Thanks again for all of your interest. We are continue to be overwhelmed by the traffic to this site and the public interest in the Young & Free Alberta Initiative.
