The big question: New Years resolutions

Happy New Years Eve everyone!
I am introducing a new section aptly titled, “The Big Question”, where I’ll be asking one big question a week. Hopefully you’ll all have good answers to the questions, and no, they are not “skill testing”.
So today, the big question is: What will your New Years Resolution be?
Never made a resolution before? Fear not.
A New Year’s Resolution is a commitment or goal that a person makes to the reforming of a habit, often a lifestyle change that will better the way they live life. The name comes from the (obvious) fact that these commitments go into effect on New Year’s Day until completed or uncompleted (usually the latter).
Some of the most popular goals that people set for themselves on New Year’s are to:
- Lose Weight
- Get out of Debt
- Save money
- Get a Better Job
- Eat Right
- Drink less Alcohol
- Quit Smoking
- Reduce Stress
- Donate to Charity
Research shows that more goals are actually achieved when using goal setting, as apposed to a general goal. For example, saying you’ll lose a pound a week, instead of “lose weight”.
My New Year’s Resolution is to take my dog for a walk every day.
What’s yours?
Extra Tidbit: When I was 6, my New Year's Resolution was to eat a box of Smarties everyday, to get smarter.
