Voting week 1 review: the fast and the fascinating!

It has been six days since we unveiled the top three applicants and opened the public voting and what a week it has been! Here are a few highlights:

• We have received an overwhelming number of votes and the race is very tight. Less that 200 votes separate all three applicants!
• Larissa's second video is awesome! Click here if you haven't seen it yet. It has been viewed more than 500 times since Tuesday!
• Paula has taken her campaign to the real world by enlisting all of the DJ's from LLOYD FM to rally her supporters. Click here to read Paula's blog post. Well done Paula, this was a very smart move indeed!
• Shane has definitely enlisted the Shane Army to vote in force!
• All three of our applicants have growing Facebook groups with active dialogue taking place.
  • Paula's group has 119 members
  • Shane's group has 50 members
  • Larissa's group has 203 members

What can we expect in the final week of voting? Who knows, the race to the finish will be anything but predictable! Each of the applicants have let us know of a few creative ways they are planning to draw attention to their campaign and to gain support over the next few days. We can't wait to watch the coming week unfold!
