Voting week 2 review: let's hear it for the finalists!

Week 2 of voting was surreal. From the Y&F Team's perspective, we could barely keep up with the new content being thrown at us. Truly amazing! Here are a few highlights:

• Voting continued at a very brisk rate and has continued to build as the week has progressed. It is still very close.
• Larissa added her own personal According to Larissa blog site and a podcast to her campaign arsenal this week.
• Paula garnered some incredible media attention this week with coverage on both TV and in the newspaper. She also added an entertaining new video featuring some real Alberta beef!
• Shane wrote a compelling blog post and added a new video with a convincing call to action!
• All three of the finalist's Facebook groups continue to grow.
  • Paula's group has 136 members
  • Shane's group has 67 members
  • Larissa's group has 285 members
• The highlight of the week was definitely the live TV interview of all three finalists on Citytv Edmonton's Breakfast TV. This was a great showcase of just how incredible these three young people are. If you haven't seen it, tune in now!

P.S. Here is the bizarre math factoid of the week. Collectively, all of the Young & Free videos on YouTube have been viewed 10,234 times. This equals 11,998 minutes or 198 hours or over 8 days of quality viewing! Now that is amazing.
