Y&F top 5: Christmas music videos

Ho! Ho! Ho!
Okay not so much yet, but as promised, as of December first there will be a little holiday spirit in everything that I do.
That’s why I thought it appropriate to talk about my 5 Favorite Christmas music videos.
So lets get this started, shall we?

Granted, this is not the most entertaining music video, but it’s Nat King Cole and one of the greatest Christmas songs of all time. It will always be one of my favorite Christmas songs and Nat King Cole brings down the house at the end. I decorate to this song also… it’s a gooder.

Again, not necessarily a music video, but I have to include this song. What is the one thing that people do around Christmas time after sucking helium out of a balloon? Well if it’s too much they pass out. Those who know their limits, however, sing this song. I never got that hoola-hoop…

The regular video is more Christmas-y and visually appealing, but it seems like 90% of Christmas YouTube videos have had embed codes disabled, so we’ll have to settle for this version. Again, the song is great, and one of those songs that you can belt out while driving to pick up some Turkey and eggnog.

This is a fantastic Christmas song, and extremely fun to watch. Yeah okay, this is from a movie and not a music video. But I just realized that there is quite a lack of ACTUAL Christmas music videos (or I can’t embed them because ScroogeTube won’t let me). Regardless, a Skeleton named Jack singing about the wonder that is Christmas can’t be missed. Now for the big finale...

The Charlie Brown Christmas is one of my favorite Christmas albums. It is extremely hard to go through a Christmas without watching this or listening to the album. That is why I do indeed listen to it every single Christmas. This song is probably one of the best non-vocal versions of O Christmas Tree. (Plus you get a nice taste of the Peanuts rendition of Auld Lang Syne at the end). Excellence!

I think those are SOME of my favorites to watch, but there are some that I left off. Every year I whip out these albums or videos and sing along. Though I have to admit, I honestly can’t really place these because I truly think they are all awesome! So honorable mention ribbons go out to:
The Grinch
Christmas Is All Around
Get It Here. Embedding of this video was not aloud, and there are some parts of the music video that are a tad too risqué for the site. But check it out on YouTube because it is an awesome song, and the Robert Palmer references are well played. Plus he’s old and trying to look cool, so props for that.

Merry Christmas Santa Clause
Why? Just why would someone do this? Terrifying.
That’s all for now everyone! I hope you enjoyed them.
Now please post all of your favorite music videos and talk about your favorite Christmas songs right down below. You know you waaaant to.
