The Lakeside Leader | By Joe McWilliams
Money management may not be high on the list of priorities for a lot of young people, But Common Wealth Credit Union—the company that is opening a Slave Lake branch—thinks it should be and is doing something about it. Last week Common Wealth launched a free service specifically for 17–25-year-olds, called 'Young & Free.' It's a "sweet package of free, unlimited banking services," says an Oct. 3 news release, "plus a much-anticipated Young & Free spokesperson search to find a savvy young person to represent and be the voice of 17 to 25-year-olds."
The winning spokesperson will be an actual employee of the company, and be expected to participate in events, blogs and interviews.
Could it be someone from Slave Lake? Why not?
