Common Wealth Credit Union is looking for a spokesperson to represent and be the voice of 17 to 25 year olds.
The Young & Free spokesperson contest is open to any Alberta resident between the ages of 19 and 25 who possess the knowledge and ability to connect with his or her peers on a variety of topics from finance to pop culture.
The person who is selected will be expected to regularly participate in events, blogs and interviews as the Young & Free youth ambassador. Contestants and members can view, submit and vote on video entries online at www.youngfreealberta.com.
The contest for the Young & Free spokesperson will run until Oct. 28. The Young & Free platform includes free, unlimited banking services for 17 to 25-year-olds. Members have access to a microsite filled with helpful hints, polls, blogs and trivia designed to help them gain financial independence.
"We're very excited to launch Young and Free, the first financial offering that engages and encourages young Albertans to become more involved in managing their own finances," said Jeff Mulligan, president and CEO, Common Wealth Credit Union.
Common Wealth Credit Union, based out of Lloydminster is a member-owned financial institution serving 52,000 members in 14 communities.
