I believe that we are put on this planet to matter in the world and make a difference. If you can accomplish these two things you will find true happiness. We all need to find something that we love and embrace that love to do something great in this world. I believe I can accomplish these tasks as a nurse. Nurses are here to care and save people's lives. If one person can accomplish those tasks then they can make a difference in the world. I want to be that difference.

I have volunteered in a few different organizations that have to do with the sick. For example: The Canadian Cancer Society, The Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. I believe that seeing the suffering people that these organizations try to help has made me want to become a nurse because I want to be a part of something that can help save someone's life. My dream in life is to work in a big hospital and do what I can to save lives everyday. Knowing that you can help is the greatest feeling and life and I want to really feel this feeling. To improve the health of even one single person would be the most fulfilling opportunity in the world.

Tom Head once wrote, "Life is meaningless only if we allow it to be. Each of us has the power to give life meaning, to make our time and our bodies and our words into instruments of love and hope." Every single person on this planet can do anything they want to if they just try. Giving your life meaning can make you feel like an amazing person. For me, I want my meaning in life to be to help other people's lives. Helping save lives is my biggest dream of all. By pursuing a career in nursing I believe that I will have the ability to make big and small changes to make this world a bigger place. Achieving my dream would be the most satisfying feeling that I could feel in my life.
