We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

In the world we live in today, image and self confidence is a big part in succeeding. As Nelson Mandela said, “Your playing small does not serve the world …, As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” It is our own personal job to insure our self-image is shining through as confident and beautiful, out to save the world. I have always found hardships in my self-confidence and it took awhile to realise where it was hiding. So training for a career in which I can help others see the truth, that they are individually beautiful in their own way seems right. I want to help others love themselves. I am entering into the industry most vital to an individuals need for beauty and self-confidence building. If one does not feel beautiful, then how are they expecting to effect the world? Our biggest stars are made to look the way they do by make up, other esthetic procedures and the key thing, is knowing they are beautiful, not to mention the help of photo manipulation.
 
Esthetics, the non-medical care of the skin, is a growing part of the health and beauty industry. Skin, that marvellous living fabric that covers and protects the human body, requires ongoing care to keep it healthy and beautiful. The professional with knowledge and skill to give esthetic services, an esthetician, is a highly valued treasure.
 
Everyone should know that to succeed in todays society, you need to radiate your self-confidence. No one should lose their character or be consumed by self-righteousness, but be comfortable enough to speak out and climb the ladder of success in style with approval. Its time to change the worlds view that EVERYONE needs to be beautiful esthetically. If 4H taught me one thing, its that one person can make a difference, to start change in the individuals around you, your community, your province and then your country. Each individual is here to do something.I am here to help people realise that they truly are gorgeous and talented and capable of achieving whatever their ambitions may be. Nothing is impossible. The world is your playground. Go play, have a ball and forget the worries in your mind. You are beautiful.
