How does your design express the idea of building a better community?

In my design, there is the world alongside a person's face. This along with the words in the front help portray the image that we (ourselves) can only begin to make a difference in the world when we no longer expect others to change, but to look inwardly instead. It is easy to look outward and see what needs to change in our world. To say "our generation needs to make a change" or "you make a change". But what if we started to look inward. To start to make a change in the one thing we can control and make a difference, in ourselves. What if we, as individuals, took the stance and practiced kindness, spoke encouragement, gave our friendship, volunteered our time to a good cause, and lived with passion. Imagine the change we would see in our community, our province, our country. The change we would see in our world. We will never know unless we dare to step out, living out our words as we say, "I will be the change."
