T-Shirt Design Entry 28 – Elisabeth W.

How does your design express the idea of building a better community?

It is said, “What a person believes in their heart, they wear on their t-shirt.”  I believe in my heart that the youth carry the future and it is going to be great if we live up to our gifts and potential. This is a universal shirt with strong message for everyone and is something I would be proud to wear. The words in these young people state exactly who we are, and our potential. This design is made to first catch a person’s attention, and then to see the deeper meaning that won’t let them go. It shows how we (the youth of today) ARE looking to change the world just by being who we are.  We are filled with so much potential and are excited about impacting our world and the future. The back of the t-shirt shows the same globe design, but with the declaration "Be It, See It" given at the bottom. Just because we have many talents and abilities doesn't mean we automatically will make that change. If we really want to SEE the change, we first have to BE what those words stand up to. The design is creative and energetic. That is what makes the message much more meaningful and powerful. The simple beauty of the message can be conveyed with a simple glance.
